Sometimes NFL players need to make sacrifices for the team.
Alex Cappa of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers did this Sunday in their 31-24 loss against the New Orleans Saints.
“I commend Alex Cappa,” Arians told reporters. “He broke his arm in the second quarter and played the entire game. He’ll miss a few weeks. But it’s next man up. “
According to the Pewter Report, Cappa told reporters after the game that the injury just swelled.
In Cappa’s position, the Buccaneers want to guard Earl Watford to back up. Cappa, 24, is in his second season at Tampa Bay, and he played as a starter as the team took him to the third round in the 2018 draft, No. 94 overall.
