D’Angelo Russell misses warriors on the four-game road trip due to injury (thumb)

Guard D’Angelo Russell suffer a sprained right thumb during their game against the Boston Celtics at Chase Center. The game ended with a 105-100  Celtics won against the warriors, and Russell immediately underwent an MRI confirming it was a sprain injury.

Russell was observed for two weeks and was unable to participate in four-team matches against New Orleans, Memphis, Dallas, and Utah.

D’Angelo Russell had an excellent start to his season, averaging 24.3 and 6.7 assists per game.
