Miami Heat forward Jimmy Butler was unable to play Wednesday night against James Harden Houston Rockets due to illness. Head coach Erik Spoelstra told reporters that Butler failed to participate in the shootaround practice, which is due to his condition being very similar to their guard Goran Dragic’s sinus infection.
Butler is averaging 18.9 points and 6.7 assists per game.
Butler had 18 points and nine assists this month after defeating the Rockets in their first encounter. Harden is averaging 37.9 points per game.
Meanwhile, center Clint Capela hit by the virus, and Tyson Chandler took his place.
